ooh Variant, the one about him mumbling about coffee, that's at the start of the Kanto region games, when you can't go passed because the old man is mumbling about coffee. Then when he gets coffee he teaches you how to catch pokemon ^_^

That makes about five references uncovered. There are more, but that's still quite a bit.

Also some of the references aren't about Pokemon at all.

**O.o not really ruining.. but we should keep random conversation to minimal. Make sure you all read the rules I put up.. and we'll start soon because I don't think we'll be getting many or any more RPG'ers. I'll leave the start date as Friday. After Friday, no more entries. And, Your character can start at any city/town in the region(ONLY JOHTO because the characters will go to Kanto later on).. but I'd like to start with no one having ANY badges yet. And anyone who doesnt have a specific way of getting their starter may start in New Bark Town and RPG getting the starter.**

Technically I am from Pallet Town, I got Charmander from Grandpa (Nicked Named Charmer), than I went to Johto to complete my Grandpa's Pokedex on a quest
