Badge for Symbol?

I have the idea of Trading 8 badges for 1 e4 symbol. That gives the Leaders soemthing to do. It could possibly work the classic way too. Just a suggestion! whatcha think?

That gives an advantage to people like Sparky with a lot of badges, and there's really no way to gain more than eight badges unless you were active for a long time.
As a result, I'm against it.

i kinda forgot to mention, you trade badges for a symbol. so like sparky would lose 8 badges if he were to gain a symbol.

I don't think it'd make a big difference, since it could just be an exchange thing instead of just having a whole bunch of badges on a person's profile. If we had multiple leagues that were up, I could see the use of it, but IMO, all changing it to a symbol would do is cut back on the HTML coding of the forum web pages. The high amount of badges makes the whole procedure look more like a league in the first place, so I'm kinda against it. Symbols as Elite Four "badges" would be a nice addition, but IMO, the original badges should just stay the way they are.
