Open Try-Outs

recently, I and the other admins have been on a major cleaning house binge for shaychu. a part of that effort (sadly) included the decimation of literally half of our current league.

Currently there are 3 gym positions open.

to try out for a GYM position, you must battle at least one of the current leaders and show a decent amount of skill. not necessarily win but show that you have what it takes to be a leader.

are we also allowing just gen 5 gyms or do you need to have 4 gen as well?

gen 5 or gen 4. if nothing else, i can test people in gen 5 as i have black and a halfway decent team

I'd like to try out for a Gym. So I just need to impress Ace, 7, Bibarel, or Espeon with 6 pokes of a similar type(NOT Normal, Fire, Dark, Electric, Water, or Poison), and 2 of the above to get Elite 4? I guess I'll let the 4 of you Gym Leaders know with this post that I'd like to apply for Fighting Gym...if two pass me or you guys feel I'm good enough for Elite 4, I'd step up there...but just Gym Leader would make me happy.

for gym, yes, you must impress at least one of us with your gym team. 6 pokemon that share a type, can include dual types. you are allowed one filler of an off type, however.
im available anywhere from 7 pm and later in US Central time (-6 GMT). otherwise, you can try catching one of the other leaders online.

Bibarel and Ash bit said they passed me for Gym. Sky and I were going to battle...but he said he has no wifi or something. If you guys want to whole league to pass me for E4...I could easily battle Blitz, Sky, Ace, 7, and Espeon whenever they are on/wifi is working.

@Ultimatepokemonexpert, you have to battle one of the existing league members or someone on staff which includes Admins, Moderators, and Jr Mods. And you have to have a mono type team which hasn't been chosen yet. But I'm ready to test you in 5th gen or 4th gen if you really want

@Darkie, I'm still transfering Normal Type Team members but I can battle you with whoever is still in my pc once you make an ice team

That means I can only use one type right? Can I use fire types?

That type is taken by 7, Available types are Steel, Rock, Ground, Bug, Physic, Grass, Flying, Ice, Dragon, Ghost, and something else that i forgot
