I'm not an MLP fan (as I've previously mentioned) but I do or did respect the fanbase because it wasn't very, um, "war-like" with other fanbases, but after reading this and a LOT of other posts on different websites, I'm beginning to change my mind.

Anyway, why is this even in Spam Central it should be moved to normal discussion because the thread seems to be pretty linear.

Well, to be honest, it is pretty up and down.

There are a few groups of ponies, like the 'official' steam group, where people talk to each other, and you have to be nice, or it could mean a month's ban. Yes, a month-long ban for telling that guy to eff off. Groups like these are serious, and they are there to have fun and discuss ponies, or anything, and play tf2 among other games.

But there are also bronies who just go brony to fit in with a group they had nothing in common with before, or just want to look 'cool' on the internet (lol). Small example, basically, a friend of mine and some other guys I know was being a jerk, so we kicked him out of our little group, at least for a while. We had one brony friend in the group other than me, and he had lots more friends. The guy we kicked out was desperate to find a little group to help him troll us, so he became a brony just to fit in with them. That's the kind of brony you need to watch out for, ones who don't actually watch the show, don't watch the videos, and the only real thing they look at with ponies are reaction faces to use.

But aside from that, it truly is a great community.

Thanks, Ducky (or, er, Quackers), that surprisingly clarified a few issues I had. Ace, I'd probably buy the NASA rip-off shirt solely because I love spaaaaaaaaaaaaace spacespacespace i'm in space.

Considering there are four or five MLP fans (I lost count) out of like ten active people, what would you guys say if I made a subforum dedicated to Friendship is Magic? I personally wouldn't moderate it because I have very little interest in it (with the sole exception of whatever my older brother forces me to watch), but maybe DarkHeart and Bibarel can cover that pretty well.

Of course, I'll have to get the A-OK from the other admins, but since it seems to be a relatively popular subject, I don't think it would hurt to try.
Then, of course, there's the issue of /maybe we should keep this primarily a Pokemon-based forum/ which I won't deny is pretty much the ultimate goal I had in mind.

(Also: Beyblade subforum or no? Stay tuned.)

Personally, I don't think it's useful to have a forum for that. Usually it's just an endless stream of reaction faces and vids you've seen, but I wouldn't mind a discussion THREAD..

I am sorry for leaving all of you. Things change and life goes on. I may be willing to give the main admin position to somebody else!
